I used to be a buyer for a department store in Atlanta, Georgia, where I bought junior accessories.
On a "trend watching" trip to Los Angeles, I noticed highschool girls everywhere wearing headwraps in fun prints. I bought them for our stores in Georgia and had a great reaction!
Years later, I still wore my "samples" to the gym and lots of people asked where I got them. So, after creating a pattern and buying assorted prints, I started making them with my sewing machine!
That's how the idea of "Shabby Chic headwraps" was born!
They are functional to work out in and fun to wear any day when there's just no time to deal with your hair. Girls of ALL ages can be "shabby chic" in seconds!
